Frontier School Division Invites Applications For The Following Position    Position: Resource TeacherLocation:  West Lynn Heights SchoolStart Date: September 2, 2025FTE: 1.00 FTE                Term of Employment: PermanentApplication Deadline: Open Until Filled  The Division provides a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, transportation and moving expense reimbursement, subsidized housing or housing allowance and isolation allowance in qualifying communities, annual travel reimbursement, reimbursement for approved courses and more! West Lynn Heights is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school with 220 students located in Lynn Lake, Manitoba, approximately 3½ hours by vehicle northwest of Thompson, Manitoba.  The area’s natural beauty provides for an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities.  Dozens of lakes and rivers in the surrounding region make Lynn Lake a popular hunting and fishing destination. Qualifications: •       Bachelor of Education degree and preferably a Master’s Degree in Education or related field•       Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)•       Manitoba Special Education certificate or certification in progress•       Previous experience as a Resource Teacher•       Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life•       Excellent understanding of current Manitoba curricula and differentiated instruction•       Knowledge and training in formal and informal assessment•       Familiar with appropriate educational programming•       Ability to complete provincial documentation requirements for appropriate educational programming•       Ability to interpret educational and cognitive assessments•       Willingness to be trained in intervention programs presently in place•       A commitment to continue to support on-going programs in the school•       Strong verbal and written communication skills
