Our mission is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that inspires both students and educators alike.聽Duties and responsibilities:As a Literacy Catalyst, you will play a pivotal role in promoting literacy initiatives and engaging diverse populations in reading and writing activities. You will work collaboratively with educators, community organizations, and families to create and implement programs that inspire a love for reading and improve literacy skills across all age groups.聽Key Responsibilities:聽路聽聽聽聽聽 Develop and implement engaging literacy programs and workshops tailored to various age groups and reading levels.路聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate with schools, libraries, and community organizations to promote literacy events and initiatives.路聽聽聽聽聽 Provide training and resources for educators, parents, and volunteers to support literacy development.路聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct assessments to identify literacy needs within the community and tailor programs accordingly.路聽聽聽聽聽 Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages reading and writing among participants.路聽聽聽聽聽 Utilize data and feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.路聽聽聽聽聽 Advocate for literacy initiatives within the community and raise awareness about the importance of literacy.路聽聽聽聽聽 Stay informed about current literacy research and best practices to continuously improve programming.聽Qualifications:路聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor of Education Degree路聽聽聽聽聽 Valid Professional 聯A聰 Teaching Certificate聽路聽聽聽聽聽 Strong understanding of Saulteaux Culture preferred and or willing to learn聽路聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent communication and organizational skills路聽聽聽聽聽 Commitment to being innovative and adaptive to teaching techniques and methods that meet the diverse needs of students路聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with the community聽What We Offer:路聽聽聽聽聽 Competitive salary and benefits package路聽聽聽聽聽 Opportunities for professional development and continuing education路聽聽聽聽聽 Supportive and inclusive school culture
