The school has a population of approximately 215 students in a K-6 setting with a staff of 29. The school and community are steeped in a rich history of Inuit culture.Required qualifications:Bachelor of Education degree or Pending DegreeTeaching certification acceptable for Nunavut Teaching CertificateIn the event that this competition becomes an open until filled posting, this position may be offered as a one year term under Letter of Authority. Desired qualifications:Experience and / or training with current assessment methodsEvidence of differentiated instruction and inclusive practicesExperience and / or training in classroom management practices and the development of positive learning environments (eg.
