YCS is looking for a dedicated Student Wellness Mentor to empower and support students in building healthy habits, emotional resilience, coping strategies and overall well-being.The PositionThis position reports to the Principal. As a Student Wellness Mentor, you will play a key role in promoting the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of students. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one mentoring, leading wellness workshops, facilitating small group programming and connecting students with appropriate resources when needed. You will collaborate with school staff and families to create a supportive environment that encourages self-care, resilience, and positive decision-making. Additionally, you will monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to developing school-wide wellness initiatives that address the diverse needs of the student community.Our DistrictYellowknife Catholic Schools has been providing quality publicly funded education to northern students for over sixty-five years.
