Grade 8 Teacher

Poplar River School is looking for a Grade 8 for the 2025-2026 School Year.We require a middle year’s teacher who is experienced and passionate about education. Seeking a teacher who has strong organizational skills, curriculum knowledge, and the ability to differentiate instruction effectively. Requirements:·        Bachelor Degree in Education·        Valid Teaching Certificate (preferably Canadian license)·        Ability to be flexible and work as an efficient team player·        Good organizational & time management skills·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills           ·        Strong understanding of Manitoba Curriculum expectations Must be willing to relocate to Poplar River, MB, a remote (fly in), friendly and welcoming community on the east side of lake Winnipeg. Our community has 1300 people on reserve and our (new) school is from Nursery to Grade 12 with approx. 400 students.
