This is a probationary position with the possibility of a continuous contract if the candidate is successful. Course assignment includes courses in Secondary Math & Sciences, Grades 9-12.The teacher would teach various math/science courses and create a quality learning environment for students throughout the province. Courses will include various courses in the area of senior high academic Math and Science in grades 9-12, and potentially other courses depending on course enrollment and teachers' skill set.The successful candidate ideally will have training, knowledge, and experience in secondary education and require a high degree of technical proficiency in the use of educational technology, providing education from a distance, an understanding of assessment for learning, inclusive education, Indigenous students and be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.
