Depending on your expertise, you might guide students through:Hands-on trades and design – woodworking, metalwork, textiles, engineeringDigital skills – coding, robotics, app development, digital media designInnovation projects – design thinking, prototyping, entrepreneurship, or maker-space buildsWe encourage cross-curricular projects, so you might work with colleagues to link ADST with science, art, math, or social studies. There’s also potential to take on other electives or provide tutoring and mentoring beyond ADST, depending on your skills and interests.This is an opportunity to shape the program around your strengths while helping youth explore new ideas, discover their capabilities, and see their projects through from concept to completion.Who We’re Looking ForYou have a Bachelor of Education (or relevant degree) and valid BC Teacher certification (or eligibility).More importantly, you are:Kind, creative, and genuinely caring.Skilled at connecting with youth and drawing out their ideas.Excited by hands-on, project-based, and experiential learning.Flexible and open to tailoring projects around student interests.A collaborative team member who enjoys contributing to a supportive, innovative environment.A valid driver’s license is preferred.Position DetailsStart Date: ASAP (As soon as August 19, 2025, but flexible and patient for the right candidate)Salary: $59,711 – $70,903/year (commensurate with experience)Job Type: Full-time, in-person (part-time considered for the right candidate)Schedule: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to FridayJoin UsBring your ideas.
