In addition, the incumbent is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operation of The Pas Campus which includes all matters related to the management of systems, facilities operation, staffing, and budget for the comfortable, safe and efficient operation of The Pas Campus with direct supervision of building service workers, maintenance, ground keepers and on-site contractors. The incumbent is also responsible for the maintenance and repairs of assigned off-site UCN buildings. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Red Seal Class "H" journey person Electrical License• Apprentice experience related to maintenance and installation of electrical systems• Supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership skills• Experience operating and performing preventative maintenance on electrical related systems in institutional facilities• Experience working with electrical legislated codes and regulations• Basic computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)• Must have good working knowledge of building systems, operations and maintenance, as well as construction functions• Knowledge of safe work practices, procedures and relevant safety policies and legislation• Knowledge of building Automated Systems, including Direct Digital Control (DDC) or related systems• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team• Must be highly motivated, self-starter with organizational skills• Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment• Written and verbal communication skills, communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and the general public• Excellent customer service experience in a fast-paced environment• Capable of working in an environment where priorities may change as emergencies occur• Commitment to life-long learning  ASSETS• Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures• Canadian Fire Alarm Association Certification• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance• Knowledge of safe use and application of chemicals (i.e. WHMIS) Conditions of Employment:Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s licenseMust be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including, sitting, lifting, reaching, working at heights and confined spacesCandidates must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of CanadaSatisfactory Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Regist  Applicants are asked to provide a cover letter and resume with their application.
