We are one of Manitoba’s Top Employers and offer a generous Total Compensation Package with health benefits, a great pension plan along with the opportunity for personal and professional growth including tuition waivers. DUTIES:Reporting to the Associate Dean, Mihcet Meskanawah Teaching and Learning (MMTL), the Building Service Worker is to provide janitorial services to provide a safe, clean and healthy environment for all users at Bunibonibee Education and Training Centre in Oxford House. The Building Service Worker is responsible for janitorial duties such as dusting, sweep/wash floors, strip/wax floors, vacuuming, clean classrooms, clean kitchen, wash windows, maintain cleanliness of washrooms, collect & dispose of refuse. May be required to work from a stepladder for cleaning light fixtures, ceiling and walls. May be required to move heavy furniture/appliances and other minor maintenance work. Other seasonal duties will include watering flowers and shoveling sidewalks in winter. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Completion of Grade 10 Education• Experience cleaning, preferably in an industrial/building services and/or unionized setting• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow through on tasks until completion• Initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of team, with minimal supervision • Commitment to life-long learning ASSETS• Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures  CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada• Must be physically capable of performing the required duties (heavy lifting of up to 50lbs is required for this position) • Current WHMIS/GHS Certification and First Aid/CPR Certification or willing to obtain• Valid Class 5 driver’s license, or equivalent Applicants are asked to provide a cover letter and resume with their application.
