This includes providing academic support through tutoring, answering questions, proctoring exams, and encouraging student engagement and success. The role involves monitoring attendance, homework, and academic progress, while assisting with classroom management and maintaining confidentiality. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Educational Assistant certificate or certificate in related field preferred, high school diploma with related experience may be considered• Experience mentoring and/or tutoring adult students• Knowledge and/or experience with learning technologies (e.g. D2L, Zoom, Teams)• Effective organizational skills• Effective interpersonal skills• Effective time management skills• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team• Commitment to life-long learning ASSETS• Experience teaching in a post-secondary environment• Ability to speak an indigenous language• Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures Conditions of Employment:• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada Applicants are asked to provide a cover letter and resume with their application.
