HIgh School Teacher - Math & Science

Sturgeon Lake School is looking for a highly motivated high school certified teacher for the remainder of the 2025 school year.Sturgeon Lake School is located 15 minutes west of Valleyview, Alberta on the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. We are a small K to 12 school that is dedicated to providing students with the academic support needed to be contributing members of our nation and beyond. The successful applicants will have confidence in weaving foundational knowledge throughout the Alberta curriculum (see TQS-5) and be willing to learn about our thriving community. As a school we provide professional development opportunities and ensure that our staff is always growing and developing in their profession as educators. We are looking for hard-working teachers who are team players, positive role models, and are dedicated to quality education in the community. A successful candidate would recognize the importance of differentiated instruction and adapt their instruction to meet the needs of their students.
