Temporary Elementary Generalist Teacher

St. Andrews School requires a 1.0 F.T.E. Elementary Generalist Teacher starting on August 26th, 2025 to June 26, 2026. This is a full-year temporary position that has the possibility of extension. The assignment will be as an Elementary Generalist Teacher, likely in the Grade 1–3 range, with the specific grade to be determined based on the applicant's expertise.The successful candidate ideally will have knowledge and experience in elementary education, literacy, numeracy, First Nation, Metis & Inuit students, and social and emotional development. The successful candidate requires proficiency in the use of educational technology and an understanding of assessment for learning and is eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.The candidate must be willing to work in a rural Catholic community environment and be a team player willing to collaborate, communicate and work together.
