 Grade 4 Teacher – LITTLE PINELittle Pine First Nation is looking for a Grade 4 Teacher. Chief Little Pine School is a K5 to Grade 12 school operated on the Little Pine First Nation, located about 79 km west of North Battleford, SK.  Duties and Responsibilities:Nurture, support and guide young learnersPrepare engaging lessons and interactive learning activities/materialsConduct formal and informal assessment of studentsFacilitate learning activities both within the classroom setting and outdoorsParticipate in co-curricular school activitiesPromote and maintain high standards of behavior, respect and safety within the classroomSupport families with open, ongoing communicationPrepare lesson plans with clear objectives that follow SK curriculum standardsApplicants must possess:Bachelor of Education DegreePossess or be in application of a valid SK Teaching CertificateMust be willing to learn and speak the Cree language and participation in Cree cultural land baseProficiency in teaching literacy and numeracyTeaching technology in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learningProvide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learningKnowledgeable and able to support differentiated instructionExcellent communicability and interpersonal skillsWell-organized and committedCreative and energeticIndependent, reliable, and willingness to work as a team playerAbility to follow directionReferences (Practicum Evaluations are also acceptable) and work historyDeadline for applications:   OPEN UNTIL FILLEDOnly successful applicants will be contacted for interviews
