With small class sizes, and robust professional development opportunities, CFIS offers an inspiring environment for both new and experienced educators to grow their careers while making a meaningful impact in the lives of their students. Purpose of the Position The Digital Marketing Associate is instrumental in the development and execution of the school’s digital marketing strategy in alignment with annual strategic goals and priorities. They work closely with the Enrollment and Development departments to promote and highlight our school community, culture and value proposition. This an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building on an already healthy parent engagement plan while gaining hands-on experience in social media, content creation, communications, and event support. The role will provide many opportunities for learning in all areas of Development, Community Engagement, Marketing & Communications, and Enrollment Management in a creative, collaborative team atmosphere that equally values relationships and results.  This is a full-time position which may include some evenings and weekends during events and marketing initiatives. Some schedule flexibility is required. Job Responsibilities: Manage social media content creation and engagement.   Monitor social media channels, track analytics and report on channel KPIs.Update website content and page design to reflect CFIS’ unique value proposition and incorporate keywords to optimize SEO.Work closely with the SEO partner to ensure SEO optimization. Contribute written content for newsletters and site posts.Be available for in-school photography for use on social media.Produce short promotional and communications videos for the school.Support the annual production of the CFIS yearbook. Provide design and logistical support for school-wide events.Support coordination with advertising outlets to enhance the school's visibility.In alignment with CFIS’s brand standards, provide design support for internal and external materials, including promotional, communications, and event-related collateral.     Qualifications: A post-secondary degree or diploma in digital marketing or a related field.  Experience in social media management and website content creation.  Collaborative team player able to support multiple priorities and tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail, copywriting and grammar are essential.  Experience with keyword, social media and metrics data analysis for optimization.  Ability to take direction and execute on strategic goals. Experience with any of the following is an asset: Finalsite, Canva, InDesign, Photoshop.Continuing education, skills and/or experience in the areas of digital photography, graphic design, and/or videography are assets. The successful candidate will need to provide, or have on file, an updated Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to commencing work.  Skills, Technical and Behavioural Competencies Required: Strong planner and organizer with exemplary communication skills. Excellent written and oral skills in English. Exemplary professionalism in dealings with all stakeholders and the ability to build rapport quickly with staff and students. Editing, grammar and copy writing skills. Digital marketing and social media management skills. Content creation and storytelling skills. Social media campaign management and optimization skills. Interpersonal skills that foster collegiality and blend with CFIS’s values. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and growth.  CompensationWe offer a competitive, comprehensive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for professional growth.
