Our pillars include the IB, Outdoor Education, Technology & Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.Our Enrichment Program, Sports Academies, and International Camps complement academics by fostering student passions, leadership, creativity, well-being, and experiential learning.Position Summary:This is an exciting new position leading all non-academic, co-curricular, and experiential programming at UNISUS. The Manager of Extracurricular Programs will design, manage, and deliver high-quality enrichment, athletics academy programs, student events, assist with planning for weekend boarding activities and operate all seasonal international camps. This role ensures vital collaboration across multiple departments to ensure students experience a safe, engaging, and inspiring student life that extends beyond the classroom.This position reports to the Deputy Head of School.Key Responsibilities:Program Design & ImplementationLead the planning and delivery of the UNISUS Enrichment Program.Oversee Sports Academies (Hockey, Snowsports, Soccer, Motorsports) with internal and external providers.Coordinate the Duke of Edinburgh Award program.Manage seasonal camps for local and international partners.Plan and support international immersion/exchange programs.Student Life & EventsOversee weekend programming for boarding students that fosters wellness, engagement, and community.Plan major school events such as the Welcome Back BBQ, Graduation, and End-of-Year Celebration.Leadership & PartnershipsRecruit, supervise, and support enrichment facilitators, coaches, and activity staff.Build partnerships with community organizations, outdoor education providers, and international partners.Collaborate with Food Services, Transportation, Residence, Facilities, and Academic teams.Administration & SafetyDevelop and manage annual program budgets.Track participation, student engagement, wellness indicators, and program outcomes.Ensure programs meet all safety, risk management, and regulatory requirements.Preferred Qualifications:Degree in Education, Recreation, Student Affairs, Experiential Learning, or related field.3–5 years of leadership experience in enrichment, camps, athletics academies, co-curricular programming, or international exchange for elementary & high school students.Experience with IB programs or inquiry-based learning is an asset.Strong background in program development, logistics, and risk management.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.Key Competencies:Student-centered leadershipStrong project and event managementCreativity and innovation in program developmentCultural awareness and experience in international environmentsAdaptability, resilience, and professional judgmentWhat Success Looks Like:High student engagement and satisfaction across programsSafe, seamless delivery of enrichment, academies, camps, and eventsStrong cross-departmental collaborationPositive student outcomes in leadership, wellness, and experiential learningWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefitsRRSP matching and paid time offProfessional development opportunitiesThe chance to shape student life at a growing, mission-driven IB schoolA collaborative, international work environment on a beautiful 17-acre campusÂ
