Guidance Counsellor

 Student Counseling & Support- Provide individual and group counseling using trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally safe approaches. Cultural & Land-Based Integration- Collaborate with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and cultural staff to incorporate Cree teachings, land-based learning, ceremony, and language into counseling practices. School & Community Collaboration- Work with administrators, teachers, support staff, and families to develop holistic student support plans. Prevention & Wellness Programming- Develop and deliver workshops on mental health, coping skills, healthy relationships, substance use prevention, and post-secondary readiness. Documentation & Ethics- Maintain accurate, confidential records according to professional standards. • Uphold ethical guidelines required by professional regulatory bodies.
