 Early Years Teacher Start Date: August 25, 2025 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain a Manitoba Teaching Certificate OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Education degree with Early Years focusKnowledge of Indigenous PerspectivesCollaborative, ability to work as a team, exceptional communication skillsKnowledge of best practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessmentExcellent organizational and classroom management skillsAbility to effectively communicate with co-workers, students, parents, and outside agencies, as demonstrated through written and verbal skills God's River (Manto Sipi Cree Nation) is a remote First Nations Community located at the mouth of God’s River located approximately 660 km northeast of Winnipeg serviced by Perimeter Aviation and Northway Air. These airlines provide daily service to Thompson and Winnipeg. We have recently opened our newly constructed, 'State of the Art' school facility, April 2022.  Our facilities are complete with new rink, gym, computer and science labs, technology areas, library, kitchen...'the works'!!!   New teacherages are being built, 'now'!   Come for the joy, challenge, BEAUTY and safety of our unique community!   We offer competitive salaries plus a Northern Living Allowance and $2500 Signing Bonus.  Each teacher is provided with two, paid, round-trip flights to and from Winnipeg each school year.
