High School English Teacher

The ideal candidate will have: - A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.- Preference will be given to candidate with Major in English studies.- Demonstrated ability to teach Language Arts.- Experience teaching in a high school setting is preferred.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.- Excellent classroom management skills.- Demonstrated ability and experience in differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners.- Ability to work well with teachers in a collaborative and consultative environment.- A commitment to culturally proficient education.- A knowledge and sensitivity to the traditions of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.- Ability to build a program with a northern perspective.
