Music Teacher

Poplar River School is looking for a Music Teacher for Kindergarten to Grade 8 students.We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic music teacher who has a genuine passion for bringing musical awareness to our students. We believe that music holds immense power in enriching lives, enhancing creativity, and fostering a love for the arts. As such, we are eager to find an individual who can inspire and guide our students on their musical journeys. The teacher is expected to innovate and develop competencies according to the Manitoba Curriculum Framework.Requirements:·        Bachelor Degree in Education/Field·        Manitoba Teaching Certificate preferred or the ability to obtain a limited teaching permit·        Must be eligible to work in Canada·        A minimum of 4 years teaching experience ·        Strong Classroom Management ·        Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills·        Ability to be flexible and work in a teamMust be willing to relocate to Poplar River, MB, a remote (fly in), friendly and welcoming community on the east side of lake Winnipeg.
