Primary Literacy Teacher-Tutor (OCT): Parry Sound

We specialize in brain injury; however, we have students of various learning profiles and abilities. We serve clients across the province of Ontario and have expanded to Alberta. We're proud of our exceptional team, our exemplary services, and the clients we serve.Currently, we're looking to fill openings in-person in-home in Parry Sound, Ontario for Literacy.The successful candidate will be/have:A member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and not in the process of certification and/or with conditions At least 1-2 years of teaching experienceExperience with different learning styles and needsA thorough understanding of the Ontario curriculum, current educational pedagogy, and how to apply it effectively and meaningfully to creative program planningProficiency with taking a differentiated approach to teaching and learningComprehensive experience with diverse learners and learning stylesA team player who is proficient with educational technology (i.e., Google Classroom, online student journals, literacy/numeracy applications, etc.)A desire to be a part of a growing organization that is affecting positive and meaningful change for children and their families
