Education Program Specialist

Summary About the Position: Serves as the Education Program Specialist for the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) located in Cleveland, Ohio. Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.Major Duties: Responsible for centralized management of the Career Exploration Program (CEP). Establish contacts with state legislators, area governments, prominent business leaders, retired military personnel, state-level education officials and other organizations to gain support for the Career Exploration Program (CEP). Coordinate promotional activities to improve state and/or regional marketing factors. Provide interpretation of test results to students, parents, school officials and members of the education community. Brief the MEPS Commander concerning plans and policies promulgated by higher authority pertaining to the Career Exploration Program.
