✅ Summary & ResponsibilitiesThe Principal is responsible for the overall operation of the urban First Nation school.Ensure that students receive programming and support that address their unique educational, emotional, social, cultural, and physical needs.Ensure the school meets all applicable provincial licensing and curricular requirements.Maintain working relationships with community agencies that interact directly with the school.Perform other duties as assigned by the employer.🎓 Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor of Arts/Science + Bachelor of Education, or a Bachelor of Education or an Aboriginal Education program diploma.Completion of the “Principal’s Qualification Program” Part 1 and 2 — or a commitment/plan to complete these within 2 years.Membership in the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).Excellent management, planning, and organizational skills.Good knowledge of education systems, structures, and funding models.Experience in school administration is considered an asset.Valid driver’s license.
