This role encompasses a mature interface of leadership and management functions to advance the Brandon School Division’s mission, vision, and strategic directions. The specific job responsibilities will be determined based on applicants’ skills, work experience and training.Educational QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Education.Certificate in School Leadership, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.Experiential QualificationsMinimum 8-10 years of school principalship experience (K-12).Previous senior administrative experience an asset.Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in leading and implementing school or system change initiatives based on the improvement of student achievement.Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and understanding in the processes necessary to advance the quality of teaching and learning.Demonstrated ability, disposition and experience in working cooperatively and collaboratively with stakeholders and community organizations to advance public education.
