The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for the permanent position of Principal of Bear Stream Colony School in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, commencing the 2026 - 2027 school year.  Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching CertificatePrevious successful school administration experience considered an asset.Ability to work co-operatively with a strong school leadership team when:Setting DirectionCreating a Learning OrganizationDeveloping PeopleLeading the Instructional ProgramA reflective practitionerStrong interpersonal and communication skillsA high degree of emotional intelligence combined with a growth mindset.Demonstrated ability to engage and involve a variety of stakeholder groups in the life of a school.Excellent leadership capacity with the ability to deliver measurable outcomes aligned with GSSD Strategic PlanCommitment to the Indigenous culture and ancestryAn innovative approach to educationInterviews will be conducted with a suitable pool of applicants.
