The successful candidate will create an inclusive, student-centred learning environment that supports critical thinking, literacy development, and historical and social understanding. This role requires strong instructional practice, the ability to build positive relationships with students, and a commitment to supporting academic success across diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate-Builds strong, respectful relationships with students-Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability-Delivers engaging instruction aligned with the Alberta curriculum-Values culture, diversity, and community partnerships-Is open to working in a First Nation setting using culturally responsive approaches-Collaborates effectively within a team environment Teachers must be eligible for Alberta Teachers’ Certification. New graduates of Bachelor of Education programs are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must provide a Criminal Record Check and an Intervention Record Check as a condition of employment.
