Kindergarten Teacher

  Mistahi Sipiy Elementary School Kindergarten Teacher   Mistahi Sipiy Elementary School located in Big River First Nation, is seeking a positive, energetic Kindergarten Teacher  to join their team for the 2026-2027 school year.  Duties & Responsibilities: •             Developing and implementing lesson plans that teach students a variety of subjects•             Evaluating and grading students' performance and comprehension of the material•             Communicating and meeting with students and parents to discuss education-related issues•             Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that is conducive to learning•             Developing lesson plans and instructional ideas according to school standards.•             Administering tests to students to assess their progress and identify areas that need improvement.•             Creating an engaging learning environment that meets individual student needs.•             Utilize and develop lesson plans and instructional materials by organizing various activities like quizzes, competitions, group discussions, etc.•             Supervising and managing classroom behavior and activities  Requirements: •             Great scheduling ability•             Great organizational skills•             Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate.•             Good classroom management skills.•             Ability to teach students of varying abilities.•             Proficient with Saskatchewan Curriculum.•             Cross- Cultural experience is an asset.•             Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.•             Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.•             Must be able to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable)
