  Summer Student Temporary Full-Time (35hrs/wk)Catholic Education CenterMay 4, 2026 - August 28, 2026  Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools covers a geographical area that includes the regional communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River. We are a team of 600 staff who provide quality teaching and learning experiences for approximately 5400 students. Position Overview We are in search of motivated and hard-working individuals who can work independently and collaboratively to complete a variety of tasks. This selected candidate will be required to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Salary: $19.00/hr. Duties include:Complete maintenance tasksSalvage of school furniture and equipmentLandscaping and outdoor grounds maintenanceWatering when and where necessarySome cleaning and other custodial tasksAbility to lift objects up to 50 lbs Desired QualificationsClass 5 Drivers license required with a clean drivers abstract The successful applicant will be required to obtain a Police Information check and Intervention Record upon hire.
