OPASKWAYAK EDUCATION SERVICES INC.REQUIRES NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR  PURPOSE AND SUMMARY OF JOB:To perform all duties for Opaskwayak Education Services Inc., which also includes Joe A . Ross, Oscar Lathlin Collegiate, Employment & Training, Hilda Young Child Care Centre. SPECIFIC DUTIES:Create new emails for new onboarding staff email and deleting emails when offboarding.Keep inventory of all assets.Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications.Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to coordinate access and use of computer networks.Provide problem-solving services to network users.Perform routine network start u p and close down and maintain control records.Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls.Perform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasks.May supervise other workers i n this group.Ensure IT hardware is i n good working order.Order new IT equipment when needed. Qualifications:Must provide leadershipMust be able t o work under pressureMust be respectful and ethical conductMust have troubleshooting and problem- solving skillsMust b e able t o handle sensitive information with discretion and integrityMust negotiate contract terms and pricing with vendors and technology suppliers.This role will require candidates to deliver support services in a variety of technical disciplines, while operating with established best practices, standards and expectationsMicrosoft Server 202 Knowledge of Microsoft Suite ProductsPowerSchoolCisco Phone SystemsEISADPMicrosoft ExchangeVMWareFortinet Security Management:Implement firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.Apply security patches and updates.Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and threat detection tools.Set up and enforce security policies and best practices.Monitor network for suspicious activity. WORKING CONDITIONS:TeamworkOffice workMust be alert and attentiveHeavy typing loadMust be able t o work with constant interruptionsRequires patienceMust be able t o handle difficult situations
