English High School Teacher

Tustukeeskaws requires a Home School English teacher beginning August 26th for the 2026-2027 school year. Tustukeeskaws Jr/Sr High school is located on the Frog Lake First Nations with a student population of 200 children. The school is a grade 7 to grade 12. It is situated 100 Km north east or Lloydminster and 75 km south west of Cold Lake. Applicants should be familiar with the Alberta Curriculum and be prepared to teach in an inclusive environment.  The home school teacher should be able to create a successful program for students who do not attend school. This teacher will be flexible, supportive, and understanding towards families and children. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with diverse families. This teaching position requires teachers to travel to homes and visit families and students. Teachers will be expected to infuse Cree cultural knowledge into the curriculum.
