You will be part of a collaborative teaching team supporting the positive growth and development of young girls in the Junior School. Ministry of Education Certificate or Independent School Certification●      Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent●      Degree or diploma in Special Education an asset●      An understanding of the BC Ministry of Education Special Education policies and procedures●      Previous experience teaching in a learning resource capacity at an elementary level●      Experience creating and implementing IEPs●      Understanding of how to support diverse learning styles of girls at an elementary level●      Collaborative and energetic with a passion for teaching●      Excellent written and oral communication skills●      Demonstrated ability to be innovative, flexible, highly organized with attention to detail●      Energy, commitment, and readiness to participate in the co-curricular program and the diverse life of the school community
