Elementary Teacher (Middle Years Grade 4-6)

 JOB QUALIFICATIONS:* A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.* Demonstrated successful teaching in a middle years setting.* Knowledge of K-8 Manitoba Curriculum and cross-curricular planning.* Ability to work well with teachers in a collaborative and consultative environment.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* Ability to work cooperatively as part of an educational team.* Excellent classroom management skills.* Ability to build a program with a northern perspective.* A knowledge and sensitivity to the traditions and aspirations of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.* A commitment to culturally proficient education.
