 ELA Catalyst Big River First Nation Education is seeking an ELA catalyst to join the education team for the 2026-2027  school year. Duties & Responsibilities: ·       Create a positive learning environment for students·       Providing professional development opportunities with teachers·       Coordinating and assisting in development, implementation·       Guide students though lesson planning, co-teaching and mentoring·       Provide an effective literacy program by using the best approaches to teaching, reading and writing·       Modify lesson plans accordingly throughout the year·       Observe and evaluate student’s progress Requirements: •             Great scheduling ability & great organizational skills•             Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate.•             Ability to teach students of varying abilities.•             Proficient with Saskatchewan Curriculum.•             Cross- Cultural experience is an asset.•             Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.•             Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.•             Must be able to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable)
