Child Development and School Age Facility operating hours are generally Mon-Fri 0600 -1800 Patch Youth Center facility hours are generally Mon-Thurs, 1430-2000 and Friday, 1430-2200 Panzer Youth Center hours are generally Mon-Friday, 1430-1800 Robinson Youth Center hours are generally Mon-Friday, 1430-1800 Based on the type of CYS program you may be scheduled to work anytime between the opening hours of the facility. CYS facilities hours are subject to change during school out days, school vacations, special openings (Parents Night/Day out/Month of Military Child/4th of July Celebration); field trips, special events and for staff development/meetings. Tour of duty may include split shift between the hours of 0545am - 0930am and 1300pm - 1800pm. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Management has the right to assign staff to locations as mission requires.Major Duties: Serves as a Child and Youth Program Assistant in any of the Child and Youth Services program and/or age groups and maintains control of and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children and youth. Plans, coordinates, and conducts activities that meet the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs for program participants based on the group and individual children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years. Establishes a program environment that sustains participant interest and promotes positive interactions with other children, youth, and adults. Helps prepare, arrange, and maintain indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials to accommodate daily schedules and provides program options for children with special requirements. Maintains program participation data and complete daily report.
