Special Ed Resource Teacher

Florence Unified School District #1 is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Special Education Resource Teacher-Grades 4-6 Location: Magma Ranch Elementary School Date Available: 07/13/2026 Summary: As a Special Education Resource Classroom Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with learning and emotional disabilities. You will provide specialized designed instruction and support to help students with disabilities access the curriculum, develop independence, and achieve academic success. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor's degree in Special Education, teaching certification is required. Master's Degree (MA) preferred.Proven experience in teaching high school special education.Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and intellectually stimulating learning environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
