Kindergarten Teacher

Atlanta Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Kindergarten Teacher-Bilingual/Spanish preferred School Year: 2026-2027 Location: Hope-Hill Elementary School Minimum Requirements: Certification:Minimum of SRT4-Certification in Early Childhood Education or related field (P-5); ORPassed the GACE in Early Childhood EducationTeachers must demonstrate advanced or native proficiency in Spanish and must be certified in SpanishEducation:Bachelor's Degree required with at least a 2.5 GPAWork Experience:Work experience gained through education and certification/license requirements.Available for face-to-face instruction within the school building with students present Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: CommunicationInstructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learner.Student management.Demonstrated ability to work well with students, staff, and parents in a professional mannerAbility to be flexible and adapt as needed between in-person learning environments.Knowledge of school safety & security proceduresExcellent writing and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
