Sahtú Divisional Education Council invites qualified applicants for: Alternate High School Specialist TeacherLocation: Tulita, NTTERM positionEmail: teach@sahtudec.ca Required education and recommended knowledge, qualifications and experience:Must hold or be eligible for a NWT Teaching CertificateBachelor of Education degreeAbility to Indigenize content, resources and pedagogy in grades 8 - 12Ability to address attendance, engagement, and pathways to graduation proactively with insightful inclusive pedagogoesAbility to balance student social emotional wellness, mental health and wellbeing, with sustained student progress in course completionAbility to teach senior high Mathematics, Sciences, English, Social Studies and Electives.
