Summary About the Position: Located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation Ft Benning, GA 31905. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.Major Duties: Perform professional instructional duties in a graduate level academic environment for Spanish language courses such as the Intermediate Level Command, and General Staff Officer Course, Joint Operations Course, and the Captains Career Course. Revise, evaluate, adapt, prepare, design, research, and teach PME curricula. Develop, revise, evaluate, and present subjects relative to graduate level resident and non-resident instruction in an adult experiential learning environment. Conduct curriculum development activities for assigned lessons and development and management of graduate level PME. Act as Small Group Advisor and/or perform leader performance coaching duties for a student staff group. Assist in preparation of graduate level course syllabi, lesson plans, practical exercises, visual aids, support requests, and other instructional support requirements. Serve as a faculty Member in the School of Professional Military Education (SPME) and conduct Unified Land Operations instruction in the Professional Military Education courses Captain through Colonels.
