Generalist Teachers

O'Chiese Education Authority is currently accepting applications for two Generalist Teachers for the 2026/2027 school year. The applicant will have:•       a familiarity with programs like SRSD and UFLI•       an understanding of the difference between Tier 1, 2 and 3 supports•       strong classroom management•       trauma informed training or background•       an ability to build rapport with students in multiple classes•       experience working with a diverse set of student needs and providing appropriate programming for those students •       the ability to differentiate instruction •       the ability to work as a team with Educational Assistants and other staff members Our school has approximately 240 students from K-12, 18 teaching staff, and 17 support staff. Our school offers traditional Saulteaux language and land-based classes to students. Our community is located in the foothills with a beautiful scenic view of the Canadian Rockies, close to local parks, within a 45-minute drive of Rocky Mountain House and approximately 2.5 hour drive to Banff, Jasper, Calgary and Edmonton.
