Frontier School Division Invites Applications For The Following Position   Position: Vice PrincipalLocation: Berens River School Start Date: September 8, 2026FTE: 1.00 FTE  Term of Employment: PermanentApplication Deadline: Open Until Filled  ABOUT THE COMMUNITYBerens River School is a Nursery to Grade 9 School with approximately 400 students.  Berens River is a community of approximately 3,546 located on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg, a 4-hour drive north of Winnipeg.  This lakeside town offers community services such as a general store, Northern store and a community hall.   The beautiful surrounding area is a recreational paradise offering a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking and canoeing.  WHAT WE OFFER•       Highly competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally.•       Transportation and relocation expense reimbursement to ensure a smooth transition•       Subsidized housing or a housing allowance.•       Isolation allowance•       Annual travel reimbursement•       Allowances for approved courses•       Additional supports that recognize the importance of work-life balance and continuous growth. •       All of the above, and more, are provided in accordance with the Provincial Manitoba Teachers’ Collective Agreement, including the Frontier School Division addendum. WHAT YOU BRING•       Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)•       Master’s degree in education/administration and/or Certificate in School Leadership would be an asset•       At least five years of teaching experience and five years of administrative experience•       Previous success with development and implementation of short and long-term school-based plans•       A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology•       Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)•       Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
