Working across Student Services, Guidance, and Wellness, you will coordinate resources, drive student achievement, and build the kind of deep teacher capacity that creates lasting, meaningful change.聽WHAT YOU'LL DO路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Student Services, including inclusive education, guidance and counselling, wellness, and clinical services to support student success and students聮 holistic well-being.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-term strategic priorities, enhancing existing programs and advancing new initiatives aligned with divisional goals and priorities.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support the development and implementation of divisional policies, procedures, and practices related to Student Services, inclusive education, and students聮 holistic well-being, including mental health and wellness.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead the development and continuous improvement of a consultative-collaborative, equity-centered service delivery model, ensuring responsive, inclusive, and strengths-based supports that address the diverse academic, behavioural, social-emotional, and wellness needs of students.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead and coordinate professional learning opportunities for Student Services and Wellness staff, fostering capacity building, evidence-informed practice, and collaborative leadership to support student success and students聮 holistic well-being across the division.聽WHAT YOU BRING路聽聽聽聽聽聽 A Master's degree, in Inclusive Education is preferred; candidates actively working toward a Master's degree will also be considered.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 A permanent professional Manitoba teaching certificate, or eligibility for certification, is required.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Deep understanding of Student Services, Guidance and Counselling, and Wellness programs, systems, and resources that support student success and holistic well-being.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated experience supporting Indigenous youth and community, with understanding of Indigenous ways of Knowing, Being, Learning, and Doing.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated and comprehensive understanding of Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning (MEECL) frameworks and priorities, including Mamahtawisiwin: The Wonder We Are Born With, Appropriate Educational Programming in Manitoba Schools, and the Framework for Learning, with a proven ability to lead system-level implementation in support of student success and holistic well-being.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Recognized success using student data to drive system-level decisions路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Established experience guiding educators through organizational change路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and community relations skills; a collaborative decision-maker committed to team路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working with a budget supporting Divisional and school-based needs.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Commitment to lifelong learning and continuous professional development路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Valid Manitoba driver's license (this position requires extensive travel within the Division)聽WHAT WE OFFERA comprehensive salary and benefits plan.聽 The incumbent will also receive assistance with relocation costs, if applicable.
