 Manager, Alumnae RelationsFull-Time Continuing Crofton House School offers a girl-centred learning environment for students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our 10-acre campus provides modern facilities, as well as beautiful outdoor spaces and a daily connection to nature.Alumnae Relations at Crofton House School focuses on cultivating conditions that enable alumnae to connect with students, each other, and the School in meaningful ways across their lives. We also introduce current students to the alumnae network, creating purposeful touchpoints that welcome them into the community. The Manager, Alumnae Relations reports to the Director of Advancement and serves as an important member of the Advancement Department. The successful candidate will develop and lead the Alumnae Relations program, which plays an integral role in helping the School cultivate a connected and inclusive community. We invite enthusiastic alumnae/i relations professionals to apply. The successful candidate must value relationship building and have a passion for education, as well as a deep understanding of the unique value of girls' schools. This person will also demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and leadership. Responsibilities: â—      Designing and activating a comprehensive Alumnae Program for Crofton House School●      Cultivating the School’s partnership with the CHS Alumnae Association through open, effective communication and the pursuit of shared goals●      Overseeing and partnering with the Alumnae Relations Advancement Coordinator to develop and execute a comprehensive action plan to introduce Senior School students to the CHS alumnae network and its benefits, with a focus on mentoring, professional networking, and building community●      Developing and implementing a communication strategy to engage and inform alumnae through multiple, coordinated channels—such as email, social media, and SMS â—      Managing the production of and contributing content to the alumnae newsletter 1898 and the School’s alumnae and community engagement online platform●      Supervising and evaluating the Alumnae Relations Advancement Coordinator●      Managing the Alumnae Relations budget and monitoring expenses●      Collaborating with Advancement colleagues, as well as faculty and staff across the School, to generate a greater awareness of and participation in Alumnae Relations●      Participating in on-campus and off-campus events as appropriate●      Performing other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Advancement Requirements/ Qualifications:●      Degree or diploma from a recognized institute●      A minimum of 2 years experience in alumnae relations, including significant experience in successfully designing and implementing alumnae programs. The ideal candidate has outgrown purely supportive professional roles and has the capacity to take ownership for leading people and programs.●      Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an eagerness to build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders, including alumnae, students, and colleagues●      Ability to plan, market, and execute purposeful alumnae engagement activities from start to finish●      Commitment to ongoing professional learning●      Experience managing staff and supporting their professional development●      Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail●      Excellent written and oral communication skills●      Experience using alumni and community engagement platforms desired●      Experience using Raiser’s Edge preferred●      Understanding of independent school culture desired●      Understanding of the link between alumnae relations and fundraising is an asset
