The Conseil scolaire du Nord-Ouest (CSNO) is seeking a full-time probationary EnglishLanguage Arts Teacher for Grades 7–12 at École des Quatre-Vents in Peace River,Alberta.RESPONSABILITIESDeliver the English Language Arts program to junior and senior highstudents ( 7 to 12 grade).Create a positive and respectful classroom environment thatsupports academic and personal growth.Be actively involved in the school and with students.QUALIFICATIONS:Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate (or eligible to apply).Bachelor Degree in Education.Competence in diversified classroom strategies in an inclusive setting.Meet and uphold the Alberta Teaching Quality Standard (TQS).Mastery of the English language.Optimizing the use of Internet and other interactive technology forstrengthening and supporting instructional programs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of conversational French an asset.Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check andChild Intervention Record Check.
