Military student ranks include cadets, privates, NCOs, officers, general officers and senior civilian executive service equivalent members. Students represent all age groups, services, educational, cultural and religious backgrounds. Additionally, the purpose of this position is to foster goodwill among the diverse groups of international military and civilian students in support of the Department of Defense mission of building partnerships. DUTIES: Plans and directs Section Operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements under the Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of State (DoS), the Defense Language National Security Education Organization (DLNSEO), the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), the United States Air Force (USAF), Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and all military services, while meeting customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Manages the section training programs and activities, establishing and evaluating policies, goals, priorities, and remedial actions necessary to accomplish the mission. Represents DLIELC with a variety of DoD, DoS, U.S. Air Force, installation and functional area organizations.
