Posting#: S2608001(S)Posting Date: 28 May 2026Posting Close Date: 04 Jun 2026 12:00 PM (CDT)Category: MaintenanceType: PERMANENT CONTRACTDescription: Maintenance Worker Maintenance III (5Pe)Location: MaintenanceStart Date: 06 Jul 2026End Date: ContinuousFTE/Hours: 40.00 per week Purpose of PositionThe Maintenance III position works with the Maintenance team and may be responsible for activities in one or more of the following areas: carpentry (e.g., building cabinets and other projects), electrical (e.g., installation and maintenance of electrical components – heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fire alarm), utility (e.g., welding, repairs, maintenance), heating (e.g., heating and cooling systems – boiler), and painting.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAre established by the Supervisor of Facilities within the parameters of the job profile.Required QualificationsClass 5 Power Engineering Certificate (for Custodial relief).Specific maintenance/technical knowledge, including the ability to assemble, repair, renovate, maintain, and install equipment and materials.Class 5 Driver’s License.Effective basic computer skills.Effective basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.Effective moderate interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred QualificationsWHMIS training/certification.Asbestos removal training/knowledge.Your cover letter must clearly indicate how you meet the required qualifications.Permanent CUPE employees presently on staff will be given early consideration, in accordance with COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT.Salary as per COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT.
