 Director of Education  - Superintend all supervisors and all staff.- Recommend to the Board the employment, termination, promotion, or demotion of all staff.- Prepare all estimates for purchases and repairs.- Assist with planning and scheduling all work in and around the school.- Assist in the preparations of all budgets and financial negotiations. - Ensure retention of all time sheets, employee attendance, and personnel files.- Encourage maximum community involvement in all aspects of local education.- Monitor all school facilities construction and repair.- Monitor all purchases related to education.- Assist in preparation and maintenance of student transportation.- Plan and organize all professional development sessions.- Plan the school year in conjunction with the staff.- Assist in the development of all curriculum matters.- Act as a liaison between all parties; students, staff, Board, Chief & Council, etc.  Petit Casimir Memorial School belongs to the people of the Northlands Denesuline First Nation, located in Lac Brochet, Manitoba. Our mission is to provide residents of the community with a high standard of academic excellence and preparedness, while simultaneously exploring, enhancing, celebrating, and fully integrating Dene culture, heritage, and language. PCMS offers classes from Kindergarten to grade 12, with approximately 175 registered students. Lac Brochet is located approximately 250km northwest of Thompson Manitoba, on Treaty 10 territory. It is one of the most northern communities in Manitoba, and is a fly-in community.
