Frontier School Division Invites Applications For The Following Position    Position: Classroom and Literacy & Numeracy Support TeacherLocation: Brochet SchoolStart Date: September 8, 2026 FTE: 1.00 FTE                Term of Employment: PermanentApplication Deadline: Open Until Filled  ABOUT THE COMMUNITYBrochet School is a Nursery to Grade 9 school with approximately 175 students. Brochet is a picturesque and peaceful community located on the northeastern shore of Reindeer Lake.  Access is via daily scheduled flights from Thompson, MB and by winter road.  The community has a population of approximately 600 people with community services such as a Northern Store, nursing station, community hall/youth centre, baseball diamond and outdoor skating rink. WHAT WE OFFER•       Highly competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally.•       Transportation and relocation expense reimbursement to ensure a smooth transition•       Subsidized housing or a housing allowance.•       Isolation allowance•       Annual travel reimbursement•       Allowances for approved courses•       Additional supports that recognize the importance of work-life balance and continuous growth. •       All of the above, and more, are provided in accordance with the Provincial Manitoba Teachers’ Collective Agreement, including the Frontier School Division addendum. WHAT YOU BRING•       Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)•       Knowledge of structured literacy programming and research supported/evidence-based teaching practices •       Knowledge of the appropriate educational programming•       Experience following an instructional scope and sequence and systematic teaching•       Experience providing, creating and implementing individualized programming for At Risk students and students with special needs •       Knowledge and experience with the Confident Learners Program through The Learning Bar•       A strong background in formative assessment and data-driven instruction•       Knowledge and implementation of cooperative learning/small group instruction•       Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
