Rockford Public School District is seeking applications for the following position: Refocus, Reset, Restore Teacher-.6 FTE Location: Jefferson High School School Year: 2026-2027 Summary: The teacher understands the central concepts, methods of inquiry, and structures of disciplines and creates learning experiences that make the content meaningful to all students. Qualifications: Illinois Teaching License with appropriate endorsements and certifications. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to effectively communicate with all school stakeholdersAbility to develop relationships with students and parentsKnowledge of various instructional strategies and techniquesKnowledge of best teaching and assessment practicesWorking knowledge of State and National StandardsAbility to organize and maintain student records, including grade books.
