Grade 8 TeacherFull-Time | 2026–2027 School YearLittle Red River School is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Grade 8 Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, beginning August 24, 2026.The successful candidate will deliver engaging instruction aligned with the Saskatchewan curriculum while fostering a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment that supports student achievement and well-being.ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver, and assess instruction in accordance with Saskatchewan curriculum outcomes.Create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to support student success.Integrate Indigenous perspectives and culturally responsive practices into classroom instruction.Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.QualificationsBachelor of Education.Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification).Knowledge of the Saskatchewan curriculum and effective assessment practices.Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.Experience teaching middle years students is considered an asset.Knowledge of Indigenous education and culturally responsive teaching practices is an asset.LocationLittle Red River School is located in central northern Saskatchewan, approximately 40 minutes north of Prince Albert in the Christopher Lake area.
