Yellowknife Catholic Schoolsinvites qualified applicants for a: Social Emotional Teacher Weledeh Catholic SchoolStart date : August 2026 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Teacher to support students’ emotional well-being, build positive relationships, and foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. The PositionThis position reports to the Principal. The Social Emotional Learning Teacher (SEL) provides opportunities for students to learn, practice, and demonstrate social-emotional skills within academic contexts. You will be responsible for teaching academic and social-emotional learning lessons to students using evidence-based strategies and programs such as self regulation, social-emotional learning circles and self assessment for learning. The SEL teacher provides this support in collaboration with and under the direction of the School Based Support Team (SBST) and the Director of Student Services.
