OPASKWAYAK EDUCATION SERVICES INC.REQUIRES RECEPTIONISTIn/External Job Posting Full-Time permanent Purpose of Job:The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for Opaskwayak Educational Services Inc., providing professional, friendly, and culturally respectful customer service to students, staff, and visitors. The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, answering and directing phone calls, responding to inquiries, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of educational programs and services. The position supports a welcoming environment that promotes the educational goals and values of Opaskwayak Educational Services. Qualifications:· Office Assistant certificate or relevant office/receptionist experience· Knowledge email, filing, customer service· Proficient knowledge of MICROSOFT Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.· Ability to speak Cree is an asset; Duties and Responsibilities:· Answer phone calls and direct to appropriate person.· Greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner at all times.· Transcribe and/or type out correspondence.· Record the distribute cheques to venders and individuals.· Check mail daily.· Open, date record, and distribute mail.· Fax/Photocopy when requested.· Maintain in/out board of staff members, and arrange boardroom bookings.· Attend and record staff meetings.· Order and maintain office supplies.· Maintain office machines and equipment. Call if repairs/maintenance when needed.· Keeping desk area clean and organized.· Other duties as assigned pertaining to job.
